1. How do I evaluate companies that claim to have green credentials?

Begin by asking basic questions, such as
“What type of paint do you recommend?” And “Why do you recommend it?
“Can you explain VOCs to me?”
“What environmental organizations are you affiliated with?”
“What do you do with excess paint, old drop cloths etc.?”

2. What if I want to use a different paint that is not low VOC?

Because many manufacturers now offer Low or No VOC paint, we will work with you to select the best, most cost effective paint for your project.

However, if there is a situation where it may be difficult to use a low VOC paint – when priming over stained wood, for example – we will check with our paint manufacturers to see if there is a low/no VOC primer that might be new to the market. Only when absolutely necessary to complete a project will we use a product containing high VOC levels.

3. Do you provide a guarantee for your work?

We offer a two-year guarantee on our work. It is important to us that you are satisfied with the materials we use and the quality of the workmanship.
